What is the difference between a parc and a garden? Broadly speaking a garden is the grounds of a large house or public buildings and is a space with flowers, roses, shrubs and trees with lots of quiet places to sit on a bench and meditate, read or enjoy the open air. A parc is a large open grassed space that will contain small gardens within a city. Note: Catalunya has the best natural parcs in Spain. A natural park is wilderness of forests and mountains preserved for hiking, cycling and mountain sports
