Visiting Barcelona coastline & port boat tours & sailing
There are multiple boats and fleets of operators that offer tours and sailing excursions in Barcelona. The key features of each option is highlighted below. Ticket prices vary greatly depending on what operator, type of tour and duration you chose.
My personal recommendation if your budget permits, is to book a mid range option on a sailing vessel like the Orsom Catamaran or the Eco Catamaran. On the trips that last more than 45 minutes and go out of the harbour into open water, The Captain will switch off or idle the engines and hoist the sails for a more authentic sailing experience.
- Las Golondrinas:Las Golondrinas are a collection of motorised catamaran vessels that provide tourist boat rides around the port and coast of Barcelona. The boats are moored in Moll de Drassanes next to the Historic port of Barcelona building at the bottom of las Ramblas.
Las Golondrinas 40 minute tour is a short route around the port and marina of Barcelona.
Las Golondrinas 60 minute tour is a long route around the port, marina and litoral front of Barcelona.
las Golondrinas are the cheapest option for a boat tour in Barcelona port.
- Eco Catamaran: Sail in an ecological catamaran propelled by solar panels and enjoy the panoramic views of the coast of Barcelona. The catamaran leavers from Port Vell passing the World Trade Center on its way out of the port. The route goes along the coast to port Olympic.
- Southern cross: Is a 1962 built 35 meter sailing yacht that offers a 2 hour sailing tour along the Barcelona coastline. The boat has a bar with 2 or 3 free drinks included in the ticket and some light tapas.
- Small Group Sailing tours: is a smaller sailing boat that can take up to 11 passengers and offers private sailing tours along the Barcelona coastline. The sunset cruise Includes Catalan Cava and sangria light tapas.
- Orsom Catamaran Barcelona: The Orsom Vessel is a large sailing Catamaran with a capacity for 80 passengers that offers sunset tours, jazz tours, event charters and Sunday lunchtime tours of 90 minutes around the port and coastal area of Barcelona. The Orsom vessel is moored in Moll de Drassanes next to the Historic port of Barcelona building at the bottom of las Ramblas. You will see it from Torre Colom.

No need for any specialist clothing, just dress for the weather and take a windproof jacket of fleece because it can get windy on the sea.
