This section winds through volcanic soil and cattle pastures, emerging at a U-bend on a paved road. Follow the road briefly downhill, then turn left onto a farm track that re-enters the forest.

Here you’ll find the Capella de Sant Nazari, a rustic chapel tucked beneath towering trees. Though usually closed, it’s a peaceful spot for a break, with picnic benches and filtered sunlight through the canopy. From the chapel, a gentle uphill path leads back to Collada de Bracons, completing the loop.

Allow 5–7 hours to complete the route depending on fitness level and photo stops. In autumn, the forest glows with colour—making this one of the best seasonal hikes in Catalonia.

From Barcelona, take the C17 dual carriageway north towards Vic. Continue as the C17 merges into the C37 heading towards Olot. Exit at Sant Andreu de la Vola and follow the GIV-5273 mountain road until you reach Collada de Bracons.
