Fira Nadal de Port Vell | Barcelona Port Christmas fair
Festive rides, ice skating, artisan food, and a giant Ferris wheel light up Barcelona’s Port Vell Christmas Fairground by the sea each night
About The Port Vell Christmas Fairground
Barcelona’s Port Vell, beside the Columbus Monument at Moll de Fusta, transforms into a festive Christmas fairground each winter. The event features children’s rides, snack booths, an artificial ice skating rink, and a towering Ferris wheel offering panoramic views over the illuminated waterfront.
Just steps away, near the Museu d’Història de Catalunya at Moll del Dipòsit, you’ll find the Sabores de Navidad artisan market. This seasonal pop-up offers local gastronomic products and festive treats beside the marina, adding a gourmet twist to the holiday experience.
Although often described as a recent addition to Barcelona’s holiday scene, the Fira Nadal de Port Vell has been a seasonal staple for over 20 years. As a long-time Barcelona resident, I highly recommend taking a ride on the Ferris wheel at night—it’s one of the best ways to soak in the port’s Christmas lights and atmosphere.
