About Maremagnum Shopping Complex in port Vell, Barcelona
The most striking structure in Port Vell, Barcelona is the Maremàgnum building which sits like an island in the centre of the port being being connected to the city by a wavy wooden pier and a park land bridge.
Maremàgnum is built with mirrored walls, and an arched roof that reflects the water surrounding it and as a result has a glimmering blue glow. Maremàgnum is a shopping centre and because it is in the port (not in the city) it can legally open on Sunday's so this shopping centre is open seven days a week from 10 till 22h.
