The Costa Brava is the most beautiful coastline in Catalunya running north of Barcelona to the border with France. The costa brava is not accessible by train but is well served by the Safra bus network.
The GR-92 coastal path runs the whole length of the costa brava and it is commonly referred to as La Ronda or Camino de la Ronda. The GR-92 passes via the most picturesque fishing villages and towns and has the bluest cleanest water in all of Catalunya.
On this page I provide a summary of all the towns that can be visited as day or weekend trips along the Costa Brava. Clicking on any of the photos will take you to that attraction page which has detailed information on what to do and see in each town as well as maps of how to get there and where to stay.
There are plenty of towns that offer sea kayak, scuba diving and sailing trips as activities. I also detail the best beaches and coves to visit.
Happy Exploring!
