About Montjuic Botanical Gardens:
Montjuic Botanical Gardens offers visitors a different walk in each season of the year as they observe vegetation from the five regions in the world with a Mediterranean-type climate.
The purpose of the Jardin Botanic is to conserve and disseminate collections of Mediterranean climate plants from around the world. Among its main objectives are: the conservation and documentation of the natural heritage of Catalonia; to promote botanical and naturalist culture; and to promote knowledge of and respect for nature.

2007 Museum dedicated to sport & 1992 Olympic games. Museum houses many sports exhibits, old and modern, and has an interactive zone on the lower floor.

November, December, January: 10:00h to 17:00h.
February, March: 10:00h to 18:00h.
April, May, September, October: 10:00h to 19:00h.

Closed: January 1, May 1, June 24 and December 25.
Free Admission: The first Sunday of each month all day, Sunday's throughout the year from 15h.

Getting To Montjuic Botanical Gardens:
Montjuic Botanical Gardens can be reached by walking 2.5km from Plaza Espana TMB Metro on the green (L3) and red (L2) lines, or from TMB Metro Foc on the light blue (L10) line. Nearer is the Montjuic Funicular station.
