The best Viewpoints in Barcelona - view Barcelona from above
My favourite places in Barcelona with a good viewpoint of the city, walking trails and mountain paths outside the city for stunning countryside views.
Barcelona's Best Viewpoints
Barcelona is a city with picturesque streets, great parks and gardens and many museums. The size of the city is constrained by the Collserola mountains and Montjuic hill that surround the city and these places offer many great viewpoints to marvel at the city from above.
On this page I break down the best places to take in the views from within the city, from the hills around the city and some breathtaking panoramic views from hiking trails in the Natural parks outside of Barcelona.
Click on any of the below photos to find out more about each viewpoint.
Happy Exploring!
Barcelona city Viewpoints
Barcelona is a built up city that can get very crowded. There are plenty of viewpoints to escape the crowds and enjoy spectacular views over the city from unique vantage points. many of these viewpoints will be churches and cathedrals and they are worth visiting for the roof top tours.
